The global climate emergency along with air pollution of private vehicles has evoked a paradigm change in terms of mobility inside the cities. Palma, as many other metropolis around the world, walks towards developed a transport network where public services can guarantee citizens’ mobility while diminishing local air pollutions from private vehicles.

A new app called MobiAPParc is now available to pay for parking via mobile.

Palma’s underground car parks are already enabled to make payments through the MobiAPParc application, as announced by the SMAP. The same application for which the ORA is paid, can also be used to pay for parking, which allows the reduction of queues and the need to go to the ATM.

This new mission needs the participation of all the cities who have to take actions such as switching to more sustainable transport modes with zero-emissions and embrace the digital smart revolution.

The intercity bus lines to Son Sant Joan airport are being reinforced.

From 15 June, the intercity bus offer to Mallorca’s airport will begin to increase. The new Aerotib lines will pass approximately every hour through most municipalities. This service aims to provide direct access to the airport for both residents and tourists visiting the island.
