Welcome to the OIMO-IB, a new place to access to the latest data and articles about mobility and transportation in the Balearic Islands. Using Big Data, we analize trends and behaviours that occurr within the islands territory.
In an insular environment such as the Balearic Islands, Mobility becomes a priority activity, which conditions all economic activity, especially that derived from tourism and the multiscale territorial cohesion of the archipelago at a regional, national and international level.
Its study constitutes a research area that should be a priority in a community where travel of residents, tourists and merchandise is a daily activity.
